Job summary

Armada Inc. seeks a Shipyard Production Worker in Seattle, WA to support abrasive and non-abrasive coating removal and coating application.

You will assist in setting up and breaking down equipment, perform fire watch duties, and help maintain a clean, safe shipyard environment on Navy ships and submarines. The role requires readiness to handle tools, materials, and safety protocols; OSHA-10 and forklift certifications are a plus, with on-site training offered where needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA-10 certification may be provided by the company.
• Forklift certification may be provided by the company.
• Firewatch certification required or obtainable through company training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare job sites and assist team to meet daily goals.
• Assist spray painters, blasters, and crew with lines.
• Clean tanks/spaces using prescribed methods and equipment.
• Operate pneumatic, electric, and hand tools.
• Handle cleaning agents, vacuums, hoses, and brushes.
• Prepare surfaces for coating and mix/apply paints.
