Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 4–8 years of experience in commercial or naval shipbuilding.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and reading 2D drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and review 2D drawings and system layouts.
• Interface with production and planners to ensure buildable designs.
• Support ECR/ECN processes and change tracking.
• Coordinate across structural, electrical, piping, and HVAC disciplines.
• Conduct shipboard walkdowns to verify conditions and update as-built drawings.
