Job summary

Hutco, Inc. is seeking a Shipyard Foreman for a yard in Reserve, LA. The role requires experience in marine repairs, overseeing a crew of at least 10, and coordinating repairs to vessels. Pay ranges from $30.00 to $32.00 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours at time and a half.

Qualifications

• Experience as shipyard foreman or supervisor in marine repairs.
• Knowledge of removing wheel shafts, rudders and coolers.
• Ability to manage a crew of 10 or more.
• Willingness to work long hours and travel if required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day repair of marine vessels in the yard.
• Instructs personnel on procedures and repairs per specifications.
• Logs time, tracks job numbers and phases for each employee.
