Hutco, Inc. is seeking skilled Tackers for a shipyard in Port Allen, LA. The role requires experience in tacking steel plate and pipe, with overtime pay (time and a half after 40 hours). NO TWIC card is required and NO per diem is available, but numerous hours are available.

Requirements

Perform a variety of skilled tacking of steel plate and pipe in the repair and construction of marine vessels and associated equipment. Work may include essential functions such as cleaning, pressure washing, rough paintwork, grinding steel, trash removal, the tearing down and dismantling of various types of equipment, etc.
