Position Title: Shipping/Warehouse/Forklift

Wage: $20.25/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 2:00pm-10:00pm

QPS Employment Group is hiring a for a Shipping/Warehouse/Forklift role for a company in Fort Atkinson, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 2nd shift.

Shipping/Warehouse/Forklift Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Obtain copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility
• Provide raw or WHIP stock to production machines per the production schedule
• Load and unload goods from vehicles
• Move goods packed on pallets or slip sheets around the storage facility
• Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
• Check loads are secure
• Stack empty pallets
• Perform daily equipment checks on the forklifts, per OSHA guidelines
• Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Dump materials into machine hoppers

Shipping/Warehouse/Forklift Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• May be required to use an RF scanner gun
• Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards
• Must be able to stand entire shift
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds throughout the day
