Position Title: Shipping and Receiving Wage: $21.75/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities:
- Accurately stage, inspect, label, and load finished products for shipment to designated storage locations, customers, or carriers
- Process parcel shipments using FedEx, UPS, and other designated carriers, ensuring accurate documentation and on-time delivery
- Receive, identify, verify, and audit incoming materials, components, and products to ensure accuracy and compliance with company requirements
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments by checking quantities, weights, measurements, and identifying information against bills of lading, packing slips, purchase orders, invoices, and other shipping documents
- Maintain a strong understanding of part numbers, inventory locations, and product applications
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to transport products and materials throughout the facility
- Unpack, inspect, and route incoming shipments; document and report damaged goods, shortages, or discrepancies and coordinate resolution with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments
- Create shipments, shipping documentation, labels, and reports using the ERP system (IFS), while performing required scanning and inventory transactions
- Maintain adequate inventories of shipping supplies, packaging materials, and related warehouse consumables
- Follow standard work procedures, work instructions, and training requirements to ensure operational consistency and quality
- Meet or exceed departmental productivity, quality, and accuracy goals
- Apply and maintain 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
- Complete assigned tasks according to production schedules and shipping priorities with minimal supervision
- Support cross-functional operations and assist in other departments as workload demands require
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Complete all required shipping, receiving, inventory, and quality documentation accurately and timely
- Submit maintenance requests and report equipment or facility issues when identified
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling, transaction processing, cycle count support, and adherence to inventory control procedures
- Adhere to scheduled work hours and overtime requirements as needed to meet business demands
- Consistently demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to workplace safety
Requirements for Shipping and Receiving:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- Experience using ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and shipping software is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, work instructions, packing slips, bills of lading, and inventory records
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and inventory transactions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and lift throughout the workday
- Ability to frequently lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety requirements
