Job summary

QPS Employment Group in Racine, WI, has a great opportunity for a General Labor / Material Handler on the 2nd shift (3:30pm–2:00am, Mon–Thu). This role offers wage range $20.00–$23.00/hour with potential to hire.

You will remove laser-cut parts, verify against work orders, manage counts, and maintain material flow. Proficiency with ERP (Global Shop) and forklift operation are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or material handling experience preferred.
• Technical assembly or fabrication experience is highly desirable.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably Global Shop is a plus.
• Able to drive a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Remove laser-cut parts from metal sheets safely and efficiently
• Verify parts against work orders, prints, and production documentation
• Ensure part counts are accurate and properly documented
• Identify and report quality concerns, defects, or damaged parts
• Sort, stage and deliver material to the appropriate departments
• Maintain material flow throughout the manufacturing process
• Enter production and inventory data into the ERP system (Global Shop)
• Communicate effectively with laser operators, production personnel, and supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assist with inventory control and material handling activities as required
• Follow all quality, safety, and company procedures
