Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Forklift Operator in Middleton, WI for a first-shift role from 4:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. The position offers potential for hire at a company in Middleton.

The role requires basic math, tape measure proficiency, and prior sit-down forklift experience, with duties including materials handling, wrapping, labeling, and completing Shipping Dept. paperwork. Applicants should be able to work efficiently in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math and measurements.
• Must be able to use a tape measure.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Previous sit-down forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic materials handling, housekeeping, and warehousing including the ability to calculate and document transactions daily.
• Operate Sit Down Forklift.
• Help lift and position materials for production.
• Pull cut pieces of foam off and slide over the Wrapping Machine. Make packages based on quantities from labels.
• Foam pieces get sent through wrapping machine where film is applied to top and bottom, heat seal iron is used to seal the package, it is then labeled correctly.
• Complete paperwork in conjecture with Shipping Department.
• Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment.

Position Title: Forklift Operator Wage: $19.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 4:00am-2:30pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Forklift Operator position at a company in Middleton, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.

Forklift Operator Responsibilities
