Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is seeking a Shipping Technician in Aberdeen, WA to operate order pickers and forklifts, manage inventory, and prepare shipments. The role entails loading trucks, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining a clean shipping dock in a 100% manufacturing environment.

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Specific duties include:

• Driving order pickers, forklifts and other powered equipment
• Completing accurate inventory
• Picking and packing orders
• Loading trucks
• Performing cycle counts as assigned
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse and shipping dock
• Troubleshooting to address special challenges
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Experience working with distribution software is a plus
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred

Physical demand:

• Associate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for a full 8-hour day.

Work environment:

• 100% manufacturing setting
• Associate must comply with assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirement in varies areas, including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety shoes.
• Associate will have exposure to typical working conditions within the manufacturing environment, including but not limited to, seasonal temperature changes, occasional exposure to exhaust fumes, dirt, dust, debris, and grease, moving forklift equipment, and pinch points on machinery.

Pay Rate Information:

$18-21/hr. Based on experience and qualifications.
