American Construction Metals (ACM), a strategic business unit of ABC Supply, is seeking a Receiving Technician to join its team in Apollo Beach, FL. The role involves unloading/loading trucks, verifying materials in the JDE system, labeling, and placing items in the correct locations in a 100% manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates are detail‑oriented, well organized, with forklift experience, and capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.

• Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and loading trucks using forklifts and other powered equipment.
• Making transactions using JDE.
• Checking incoming materials against packing slip.
• Inspecting and labeling incoming material and moving it to proper location.
• Prioritizing the processing of materials.
• Cycle Counting.
• Receiving and determining the disposition of returned goods.
• Organizing and disposing of damaged goods including proper JDE transactions.
• Picking, labeling, and returning products to shipping dock as required.
• Any other tasks deemed necessary during the course of the day.

Physical Demand:

Associate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for a full 8‑hour day.

Work Environment:

100% manufacturing setting. Associate must comply with assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirement in various areas, including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety shoes. Associate will have exposure to typical working conditions within the manufacturing environment, including but not limited to seasonal temperature changes, occasional exposure to exhaust fumes, dirt, dust, debris, and grease, moving forklift equipment, and pinch points on machinery.
