Job summary

PLA is hiring a Shipping Team Leader in Midlothian, TX to support daily shipping operations and lead a team toward safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. The role involves coordinating work, creating shipments, managing inventory, and training team members while ensuring efficient processes across the facility.

Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with scheduled increases at 90 days, 1 year, and annually for up to five years, with a maximum rate after 5 years.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in a shipping/warehouse role.
• Ability to coordinate work assignments and maintain accuracy in shipments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping operations and lead team to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Create and verify shipments, manage inventory transactions, and assist with trailer movement.
• Train team members and ensure processes are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Support management in enforcing PLA policies and procedures.
