Job summary

S&S Activewear in McDonough, GA is seeking a Shipping Department Team Lead to supervise daily shipping operations, guide team members, and ensure safety and SOP compliance. The role requires strong leadership, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, in a full-time, non-exempt capacity.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and strong leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand/walk 8+ hours and work flexible hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping department daily operations and staff.
• Provide guidance and feedback to team members.
• Ensure safety and SOP compliance across the shipping floor.
• Monitor task times and location reports; drive process improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve shipping process issues.
• Lead special shipping projects and mentor the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
