Job summary

S&S Activewear LLC in Lockport, IL, is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead - Shipping (Mon-Fri, 2:30pm–11pm) to support the Shipping manager and guide the distribution team in daily workflows, safety, and KPI attainment.

You will monitor orders, oversee receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping; operate equipment like forklifts and cherry pickers; and train new hires while maintaining a clean, compliant DC.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead shipping team and support Shipping manager.
• Oversee receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping to meet safety and quality standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed (forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks).
• Train and mentor new hires; ensure SOPs are followed.
• Monitor KPI targets for safety, quality, productivity.
