Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Jessup, PA Distribution Center is seeking a Shipping Assistant Manager to join the shipping team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will lead, coordinate, and motivate staff to ensure accurate, on-time outbound shipments while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You will manage daily operations, communicate across branches, and drive continuous improvement in processes and metrics within a health and sustainability focused culture.

Qualifications

• Possess prior leadership or management work experience.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of computer operations, including warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Applications.
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented.
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
