Fastenal is seeking a Receiving Assistant Manager at its Jessup, PA distribution center. You will help manage the Receiving department, verify delivered products and quantities, and lead a team to complete daily tasks safely, accurately, and on time.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with warehouse systems, and the ability to work a night shift from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Benefits package includes health, life, disability, dental insurance, paid time off, holidays, and a 401(k).

• Experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed.

OVERVIEW

Working as Full-Time Receiving Assistant Manager, you will assist in managing the Receiving department. The Receiving department is responsible for verifying the product and quantity delivered to the HUB. You will motivate and provide leadership to team members to ensure day-to-day operations are completed safely, accurately, efficiently and on time. RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess prior leadership or management work experience
• Knowledge of computer operations, including warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Applications
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Lead and motivate a team of employees
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience operating a forklift
• Prior warehouse work experience
