Fastenal Co. is seeking an Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability Assistant Manager for the Jessup, PA distribution center.

This full-time role reports to the Administrative department and requires leading safety initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving safety training programs. Based at 1225 Mid Valley Dr, Jessup, the position involves coordinating with district managers, conducting safety investigations, and managing day-to-day safety operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with relevant work experience.
• Valid driver's license with ability to meet driving record requirements.
• Proficient written and oral communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiar with occupational safety regulations.
• Willingness to travel with a flexible schedule.
• Lead and motivate a team.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages weighing 25–50 lbs, up to 100 lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen (US, PR, Guam).

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead team members.
• Coordinate scheduling and staffing.
• Ensure day-to-day operations are completed.
• Communicate with employees and branches.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local safety regulations.
• Perform accident investigations and safety analyses.
• Conduct new employee safety trainings.

• Complete administrative reporting and related clerical duties.
