Quanex Building Products Corporation in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Team Leader to coordinate shipping and warehouse activities to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate order fulfillment. You will lead a team of 10–15, print pick tickets, prepare shipments, and collaborate with other departments to meet customer requirements.

This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with eligibility for benefits.

Competenze

• Forklift certification is required; previous experience preferred.
• Able to lead a team of up to 10–15 members.
• Accurate information handling and ability to follow a process to completion.
• Ability to move pallets, load trucks and handle equipment safely.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks and scanners.
• Ability to label cartons and prioritize daily shipments.
• Strong emphasis on safety and OSHA compliance.

Quanex is looking for aTeam Leaderto join our team located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

This position will be responsible to coordinate the shipping and warehouse activities for the day-to-day activities necessary to ensure on time delivery objectives are met and the customer receives the product that they ordered.

Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am-2:30 pm

What Success Looks Like:

• Print daily pick tickets
• Produce copies of paperwork where necessary
• Gather, review, and sort daily orders by ship date.

• Pulling of finished goods inventory to fill customer orders
• Coordinate with all departments to ensure customer orders are shipped in a timely manner

• Assist with inventory activities including cycle counting process
• Coordinate and help with routine and exception cycle counting

Your Credentials:

• Forklift certification will be required; previous experience is preferred
• Ability to successfully lead a team of up to 10 to 15
• Accuracy of information and the ability to follow a process through to completion
• Ability to move pallets, load trucks, and move other items safely throughout the plant as necessary
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to use scanners
• Ability to follow instructions, label cartons, and prioritize daily shipments
• Excellent understand of your responsibilities regarding safety and OSHA

The hourly rate of pay for this position starts at $23.00 per hour. Increase to starting pay depending on experience.
