Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.
• Strong skills in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor all activities related to maintenance and the facility.
• Develop annual and project-based budgets for facility and equipment maintenance.
• Plan and direct the work schedule with department employees.
• Provide for the safety of employees and company property.
• Work independently with minimal supervision to meet objectives.
• Resolve problems related to job responsibilities and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead the team to achieve production goals and improve efficiency.
• Train and coach employees in job responsibilities and performance techniques.
• Maintain records on productivity to inform supervision or promotions.

What Success Looks Like:

• Directing and monitoring all activities relating to the functions and responsibilities of maintenance and the facility.
• Develop annual and project-based budgets for the activities and needs of the facility and equipment maintenance.
• Planning and directing the work schedule with department employees.
• Providing for the safety of employees and the property of the employer.
• Working independently and proceeding with objectives with minimal supervision.
• Handling and resolving problems related to job responsibilities.
• Succeeding within a team environment to achieve production goals and objectives.
• Providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Training employees in the appropriate job responsibilities. This will include coaching employees in proper job performance techniques and procedures.
• Maintaining records on employee productivity for use in supervision or control and appraising employee’s productivity and efficiency to recommend promotions, raises or changes in status.
• Resolving and managing any disciplinary issues when necessary.

What you Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment and in a similar role.
• Strong skills in using MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, to be able to lead a team.

The Salary range for this position is $71,500-104,500 commensurate with experience and has bonus potential.
