Job summary

Nord Gear Corporation seeks an experienced 2nd Shift Shipping Team Lead to join our team in Wisconsin. You will oversee the Shipping Department, enforce standard work, and drive continuous improvement while leading training for shippers and painters.

The role offers a 4-day workweek and a schedule of 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays off. You will monitor performance, ensure safety, and help achieve production goals while maintaining high-quality shipping operations and

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; leadership training preferred.
• Experience: Three years in production; shipping and leadership experience preferred.
• Skills: Lean principles, strong verbal communication, detail-oriented, leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Shipping Department operations and ensure safe, efficient workflow.
• Ensure standard work procedures are followed and lead daily accountability meetings.
• Train shippers and painters and promote continuous improvement.
• Monitor task quality to meet production and quality specs.
• Support meeting company goals and drive team performance.
