Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a Shipping Team Lead for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3pm-11pm). You will guide associates in preparing the right pallets for shipment and coordinate loading to ensure timely dispatch.

The role offers a base pay of $24.82 per hour plus a $1.50 differential. Applicants should have distribution center operations experience, forklift certification, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution center operations and ability to lead a team.
• Certified to operate powered industrial trucks (sit-down forklift, dock stocker, order picker, turret).
• Strong leadership and written/oral communication abilities.
• Proficiency with WMS reporting; RDT experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 33 pounds independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Team meetings daily to delegate tasks and announce daily goals.
• Pull UPS and Shipping Report; access Load Pickup Report with appointment times.
• Prepare for loading of trailers and ensure correct loads are handled on time.
• Stage products at correct docks for future trailer preparation.
• Provide clear directions to associates to achieve goals in a respectful, direct manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
