Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Shipping Team Lead for 2nd shift in Fort Mill, SC. You will guide associates in preparing pallets for shipment, conduct daily team meetings, and ensure loads are correctly staged and shipped on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution center operations and knowledge of layout, product catalog numbers, and handling characteristics.
• Certification and ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks (sit-down forklift, dock stocker, order picker, turret).
• Demonstrated leadership and strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with WMS reporting/display; RDT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct team meetings daily to delegate tasks and announce daily goals.
• Pull UPS and Shipping Report.
• Access Load Pickup Report with appointment times for shipments.
• Prepare for loading of trailers that are available.
• Ensure loaders and pallet pickers work on correct loads to ensure timely shipment.
• Stage products at correct docks for future trailers.
• Give directions to associates in a respectful, direct manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
