Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:00 PM) with training on the 1st shift.

Starting at $24.72 per hour plus 5% shift differential, the role focuses on coordinating material flow, shipping documentation, and carrier coordination on the production floor. You’ll work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with oil, noise, and occasional powered equipment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination experience, preferably in aerospace or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and shipping software.
• Experience preparing shipping documents, bills of lading, packing slips, and carrier coordination.
• Knowledge of domestic and basic international shipping requirements; export compliance awareness preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts to meet production schedules.
• Compile data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts for material requirements.
• Develop new suppliers to keep costs competitive and capabilities improved.
• Prepare shipping documentation including packing slips, bills of lading, certifications, and export paperwork.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, lot traceability, packaging, and labeling prior to shipment.
• Ensure proper packaging, palletization, weight limits, and loading practices per safety standards.
• Monitor shipments in transit and update stakeholders and customers on delays.
• Schedule carrier pickups, coordinate freight quotes, and resolve transportation issues.
• Execute shipping transactions in ERP and record inventory relief.
• Maintain shipping records for audit readiness and traceability.
