Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a shipping/receiving environment within automotive manufacturing.
• Experience with automotive logistics and Tier 1 supplier standards is required.
• Strong knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures, transportation methods, and compliance regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a safety-first culture and ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Coordinate and execute material transference plans with external partners.
• Monitor shipment receipts and document inbound/outbound logistics.
• Manage interdepartmental material transport within the facility.
• Conduct root cause analysis to support continuous improvement.
• Develop and deliver training programs; gather feedback and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve logistics performance and reduce costs.
• Build partnerships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Apply problem-solving to overcome challenges.
• Coach and mentor staff to foster teamwork and development.
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping, tracking, and reporting of shipments.
• Overtime as required to meet shipping schedules.
