Job summary

CSP is seeking a Manager, Logistics & Supply Chain Optimization to lead improvements in material flow, warehousing, packaging interfaces, and transportation across CSP plants. You will work with plant teams to identify waste, design practical solutions, and implement changes that improve service, space utilization, and logistics cost.

The role blends analysis with hands-on workshops, implementation support, and sustained operating controls, based in Auburn Hills, MI with 50% travel to CSP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 7+ years in manufacturing logistics or supply chain improvement.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional projects with measurable results.
• Experience with value stream mapping, Lean, warehouse processes, and transportation analysis.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills for baseline development and project tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead value stream mapping, material-flow studies, and improvement workshops.
• Develop standards for warehouse layout and material handling with Operations and Engineering.
• Improve trailer utilization, routing, and interplant transportation using data.
• Lead premium-freight reduction through root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Partner with Packaging Engineering on pack quantities and packaging changes to reduce cost.
• Establish KPIs and methods; validate savings with Finance for recurring savings.
• Manage projects from baseline to implementation and sustainment.
• Support launches with logistics readiness, capacity planning, and planning.
• Coordinate carrier sourcing with Purchasing; audit standards and address risks.
• Own trade compliance including import/export docs and HTS classification.
