Job summary

CSP Innovations OH Payroll Co., LLC is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead a shipping/receiving team in our automotive manufacturing facility in Idaho. You will coordinate material transfers, ensure timely shipments, and drive continuous improvements.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in shipping supervision, knowledge of Tier 1 requirements, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. This role requires a safety-focused mindset and may include overtime to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a shipping/receiving environment within automotive manufacturing.
• Experience with automotive logistics and Tier 1 supplier standards is required.
• Strong knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures, transportation methods, and compliance regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail with exceptional problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, accomplish goals, and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in promoting a safety-first culture across the team and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate and execute material transference plans with external partners (customers, suppliers, transporters).
• Monitor and confirm receipt of shipments and document inbound/outbound activities.
• Manage interdepartmental transport of materials to ensure timely operations.
• Identify operational improvements through root-cause analysis and data review.
• Develop and deliver training programs; gather feedback and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce logistics costs and improve performance.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate recordkeeping, tracking, and reporting of shipments and receipts.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet shipping schedules.
