Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. is seeking a production supervisor to oversee daily operations in our Michigan facility. The role involves reviewing work orders and schedules, guiding staff, and ensuring safe, efficient production lines.

You will train new employees and enforce quality standards while maintaining high attendance and productivity. This position requires a capable leader who can manage a large team, interpret complex work instructions, and drive continuous improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and analyze work orders, production schedules, and other records to determine production requirements and evaluate outputs.
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Ensure products are loaded on trailers correctly and promptly.
• Demonstrate equipment operations and safety procedures to new employees or assign training.
• Observe work and ensure operators conform to production standards.
• Motivate and manage a large group of employees.
• Interpret specifications, job orders, and company policies for workers.

Position Description:

· Read and analyze work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs

· Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions

· Ensure products are loaded on the trailers correctly and in a timely manner

· Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees, or assign employees to experienced workers for training

· Observe work and ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards

· Motivate and manage a large group of employees

· Interpret specifications, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time off: sick leave, vacation and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): eligible after the 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
• This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
