Job summary

Shipping Supervisor is seeking a candidate with 1–2 years of Shipping experience to read orders, inspect materials, and ensure proper loading of products. The role involves supervising a large team, training new hires, and enforcing production standards in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should be highly motivated with great attendance and be able to work Saturdays and some Sundays, totaling 50+ hours per week.

SHIPPING SUPERVISOR

Position Description:

• Read and analyze work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
• Ensure products are loaded on the trailers correctly and in a timely manner
• Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees, or assign employees to experienced workers for training
• Observe work and ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards
• Motivate and manage a large group of employees
• Interpret specifications, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time off: sick leave, vacation and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): eligible after the 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
• This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
