Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking a production supervisor to oversee a large team on Saturdays and select Sundays, ensuring 50+ hours per week with strong attendance. The role requires reading work orders, managing schedules, and training staff to follow safety and quality standards.

Position Description:

Read and analyze work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs

Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions

Ensure products are loaded on the trailers correctly and in a timely manner

Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees, or assign employees to experienced workers for training

Observe work and ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards

Motivate and manage a large group of employees

Interpret specifications, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• 401(k): eligible after the 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
