Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Valley, Nebraska seeks a Shipping/Loader to join the Valley Structures team. You will gather and load parts on trailers for customer shipments, operate a forklift, and ensure products are packed to meet quality standards.

This 1st shift role requires safe, efficient work, adherence to procedures, and ability to work overtime when needed. Team-oriented environment with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, read, write, and count.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Overtime availability when required for business needs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook).
• Read order pick lists and recognize major parts by sight.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for finishing or coating defects during packing.
• Maintain and operate packing and shipping equipment safely.
• Read order pick lists and identify major parts by sight.
• Maintain housekeeping in the area.
• Follow department quality procedures and OSHA safety rules.
• Operate a forklift and load trailers for shipments.
• Work with the team to meet production and delivery schedules.
