Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking an Outside Shipper to accurately pick, count, and pack parts for shipment to customers. The role is the first step in a progression within shipping, with responsibilities including operating material handling equipment safely and maintaining housekeeping standards.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, ability to use e-mail, and willingness to work overtime. Compensation is $23.20 per hour with 1st or 3rd shift options.

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Ability to read and understand English documents such as order pick lists.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must be able to work overtime when required for business needs.

Responsibilities

• Pick, count, pack and load parts for shipment accurately.
• Operate forklift, overhead cranes and banding tools safely.
• Maintain area housekeeping and safety standards.
• Read order pick lists and identify major parts by sight.
• Handle varying shifts as needed for business demands.
