Job summary

Valmont Industries in Valley, Nebraska is hiring an Inside Shipper for the 3rd shift (Sunday–Wednesday, 7:30 pm–5:30 am). You will pick, count, and pack parts for shipment and operate material handling equipment. You’ll maintain safety and housekeeping standards and advance within the shipping department.

Requirements include English literacy, basic math, ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs, and overtime as needed. Prior forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand plain English documents such as orders and tags.
• Must understand and follow verbal/written instructions.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Ability to stand, bend, push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Overtime ability when needed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, count, and pack parts for shipment.
• Operate material handling and packaging equipment safely.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Wear all required PPE and comply with safety policies.
• Assist in shift handoffs and follow supervisor directions.
