Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions company, is hiring Shipping Associates for a direct-hire role in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will manage outbound shipments from start to finish, inspect orders, package high-value electronics, and coordinate with carriers. Training in Los Angeles precedes the Salt Lake City start.

The position offers mon–fri first shift, on-site work in a high-tech facility, and opportunities to grow with the new operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience using FedEx/UPS/DHL or similar carrier systems.
• Shipping experience in manufacturing, electronics, distribution, or fast-paced environments.
• Experience preparing domestic or international commercial shipments.
• Proficient with computers; comfortable learning new systems; Excel/Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Manage outbound domestic and international shipments from preparation through delivery.
• Inspect products and orders before shipment to verify quantity, condition, accuracy, and documentation.
• Select appropriate packing materials and securely package high-value electronics.
• Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, invoices, carrier docs, and export paperwork.
• Process shipments through major carrier systems (FedEx/UPS/DHL) and track status.
• Coordinate carrier pickups, freight services, and delivery timelines.
• Enter shipping, order, and inventory data into company systems.
