Job summary

Permobil is hiring a Shipping Specialist in Lebanon, TN for 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 6:00am–4:30pm; overtime possible). You will pick, verify, pack, label, and ship orders using RF scanners and shipping software, coordinating with carriers to ensure timely dispatch.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer and scanning skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior warehouse/shipping experience is a plus and teamwork is essential.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer and scanning device skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with adaptive technology, mobility equipment, or medical device standards desired.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment with other groups as necessary.
• Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick items from inventory based on order specifications using RF scanners or pick lists.
• Verify product codes, quantities, and quality before packing.
• Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
• Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipment using shipping software.
• Coordinate with carriers and ensure timely dispatch of orders.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Report discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Shift: 1st Shift
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (Must have the ability to work overtime hours.)
