Job summary

Permobil in Lebanon, TN is hiring a Materials Prep for 1st shift, 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Thursday. You will perform daily picks, report discrepancies, maintain accuracy, and operate machinery safely in a temperature-controlled environment.

Candidates should read simple instructions, perform basic math, be proficient with RP scanner, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have at least 1 year related experience.

• Basic math functions.
• Proficient with RP scanner.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred; 1 year related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily picks accurately and report discrepancies to the inventory team.
• Maintain low error rates and meet performance measurements (quantity, accuracy, timeliness, thoroughness).
• Operate machinery safely and report hazards to supervisor or safety manager.
• Maintain good attendance and assist other departments with miscellaneous duties.

• Pay Range: $18 to $20 per hour
• Shift: 1st Shift
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (Must have the ability to work overtime hours.)

Your Role in Our Mission

• Perform daily picks accurately and report any discrepancies found immediately to the inventory team.
• Keeping error rates minimal and within acceptable ranges; maintaining an efficient work pace; meet or exceed all performance measurements: quantity, accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work performed.
• Operating all machinery in a safe and efficient manner; reporting any safety hazards to assigned supervisor or safety manager; complying with all safety and quality policies, practices and procedures.
• Maintaining a good attendance record and assisting other departments with miscellaneous duties.

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

• Indoor, moderately temperature controlled.
• Activity performed on equipment at high levels.
• Moderate physical activity includes: bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 30 pounds
• Utility knife; counter scale; measuring devices; calculator; RF scanner; computer; cherry (order) picker lift
