This role emphasizes documentation, verification, and inventory control in a large distribution environment. You will work with ERP/MRP systems and may operate a forklift as needed. Attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records.
• Keep accurate records of all shipments and ensure documentation is complete and properly filed.
• Unpack and inspect shipments, reject damaged items, and record shortages or discrepancies.
• Route received items to appropriate departments within the facility.
• Examine outgoing shipments to confirm they meet specifications and shipping requirements.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Perform data entry to track shipments and inventory.
• Use ERP/MRP systems or tracking software to record and monitor shipping information.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to support efficient distribution and resolve issues.
