Encode Inc, a fully owned subsidiary of LanceSoft, is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for an on-site role. Work hours are on-site with standard daytime shifts, supporting manufacturing projects and inventory accuracy.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with ERP systems, and SAP knowledge is a plus. Forklift/crane certifications are desirable to facilitate material handling and logistics operations.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED; prior production and inventory control helpful.
• Forklift and crane certifications desirable.
• Familiar with ERP systems; SAP knowledge a plus.
• Ability to calculate dimensions, weights and volumes of packaged equipment.
• Ability to follow departmental policies and procedures with accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Verifies and records incoming/outgoing shipments; inputs data into ERP system.
• Counts, weighs, and measures items to verify against bills of lading and invoices.
• Determines shipment method and arranges carriers as needed.
• Affixes shipping labels and prepares containers for shipping.
• Assembles or selects crates; pads items for protection during transit.
• Packs and seals shipments; records weights and postage.
• Unpacks shipments, records shortages, and coordinates with shippers to rectify issues.
• Participates in physical inventories and Kanban routing for projects.
• Routes items to internal departments and ensures shipments meet specs.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials; operates forklift as required.
• Pulls and kits parts for assembly teams; supports meeting deadlines.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management to meet business needs.
