Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Shipping & Receiving Technician to read PMI and JSA, perform daily production tasks, and ensure timely, accurate customer shipments.

You will handle basic math, operate fork trucks, input data in Outlook/Oracle/Wavefront, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and ability to read work instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math in all units of measure.
• Operate fork truck, electric hoist, scales, and labeling machines.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching; lift up to 40 lbs.
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of common software.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and use PMI, JSA, and schedules to complete tasks.
• Support safety initiatives and policies as needed.
• Ensure customer shipments are filled on time and per PO requirements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by performing basic math and organized workspace.
• Ship and receive using computer systems such as Outlook, Oracle and Wavefront.

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will read, understand, and useProduct Manufacturing Instructions (PMI’s), Job-Safety Analysis’ (JSA),and schedules to accomplish daily production tasks
• Further you will support andparticipate in current and new safety initiatives/policies as businessneeds arise
• You will ensure customer shipments are filled on time and in the correct quantities based on the purchase order requirements
• Additionally, you will ensure inventory accuracy by performing basic math and maintaining an organized workspace
• You will work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to complete tasks on-time while meeting all safety and quality requirements
• You will perform the necessary steps required for shipping and receiving in computer systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Oracle and Wavefront
• You will have the basic knowledge and understanding of fork trucks and associated material handling equipment

• Youmust be able to wear a full face or half face respirator
