Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies, located in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate for a 12-hour night shift (12:00 PM–12:30 AM). The role includes handling all shipping/receiving activities, inspecting parts, coordinating freight, and maintaining a clean dock area in line with 5S standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, experience in production/manufacturing, forklift operation, and proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) and

Qualifications

  • A High School degree or GED is required.
  • Experience working in a production/manufacturing and/or plant environment is required.
  • Shipping / Receiving experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite) preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Able to operate a forklift and other shipping/receiving equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of shipping and receiving, including retrieving production parts, preparing shipments, and loading/unloading trucks for production parts and plant supplies.
  • Inspect and unwrap incoming parts, verify container counts, and perform visual damage checks.
  • Schedule and coordinate freight pick-ups for production parts, recycling, and other plant needs.
  • Enter sales orders and generate customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment for deliveries, shipments, and general plant needs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dock area in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
