Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate in Indianapolis, IN, on a 12-hour night shift. The role involves handling all shipping/receiving tasks, loading/unloading trucks, forklift operation, and coordinating freight for production parts.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, prior shipping/receiving experience, and familiarity with ERP systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience working in a production/manufacturing and/or plant environment is required.
• Shipping / Receiving experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite) preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
• Able to operate a forklift and other shipping/receiving equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
• Basic math skills
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of shipping and receiving, including retrieving production parts, preparing shipments, and loading/unloading trucks for production parts and plant supplies
• Inspect and unwrap incoming parts, verify container counts, and perform visual damage checks
• Schedule and coordinate freight pick-ups for production parts, recycling, and other plant needs
• Enter sales orders and generate customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment for deliveries, shipments, and general plant needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dock area in accordance with 5S standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
