Golden Pet Manufacturing in Seward, NE seeks a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to oversee material handlers, ensure compliance with procedures, and manage loading/unloading of trailers. You will maintain shipping documents, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate orders to support safety and efficiency.

The role requires 5 years in shipping/receiving, ERP experience, and forklift proficiency, with a focus on Lean/GMP practices and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5 years experience in shipping and receiving.
• ERP and inventory control background.
• Comfortable operating a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Material Handlers and ensure proper procedures and policies are being followed.
• Enforce and uphold work rules, policies, procedures and report violations.
• Supervise loading and unloading of trailers and inspect them.
• Maintain, update and develop shipping and receiving documents as needed.
• Investigate root causes and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate and prioritize orders, stock transfers, and production receipts focusing on safety, quality and efficiency.
• Maintain pre-shipment inspection programs to prevent incorrect stock shipments.
• Foster effective employee relations to boost motivation and productivity through continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
• Train employees and monitor performance to ensure timely and effective work with proper product rotation, damage control, GMP and BRC standards.

We're Looking For A(n): Shipping & Receiving Supervisor

Location: Seward, NE

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supervise Material Handlers and ensure proper procedures and policies are being followed
• Enforce and uphold Golden Pet Manufacturing work rules, policies, procedures and report any known violation
• Supervise loading and unloading of trailers to include inspection of the same
• Maintain, update and develop shipping and receiving documents as needed
• Investigate root cause and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Coordinate and prioritize selection of orders, stock transfers, and production receipts as it relates to safety, quality and efficiency
• Maintain established pre-shipment inspection programs to prevent incorrect stock shipments
• Maintain effective employee relations to improve motivation and productivity through the use of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing concepts
• Train employees and monitor performance to ensure work processes are accomplished in a timely and effective manner using flawless control over held products, rotation, damage control, GMP and BRC standards
