Golden Pet Manufacturing in Seward, NE, is seeking a Raw Production Manager to lead the production team and optimize processes. You will oversee the entire production area, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement on cost, quality, and safety.

This role requires strong leadership, lean manufacturing experience, and collaboration with Safety, Quality, Maintenance, and HR to keep operations running smoothly. Experience in pet food is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years leadership in manufacturing.
• Strong lean manufacturing background.
• Experience in pet food or food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire production process within assigned area(s) of the manufacturing facility to operate within budget and meet KPIs
• Analyze current production processes and recommend improvements for enhanced efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Manage team of Production Supervisors and provide support on the daily activities of production and hourly employees
• Monitor and review the daily line performance to ensure operations meet performance standards and make improvements or adjustments as needed
• Partner closely with other departments including Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Sanitation, Accounting and HR to maintain efficient operations
• Create and share regular reports with management to provide status updates on production metrics, issues or challenges facing the department(s)
• Provide and encourage an open working environment on the production floor with all employees; lead effective conflict management efforts as needed when challenges or disagreements between employees arise
• Effectively manage the workforce and assist Production Supervisors through the disciplinary process while partnering with Human Resources
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset and identify cost saving opportunities and see those through to implementation

We’re Looking For A(n): Raw Production Manager

Location: Seward, NE

What You’ll Be Doing:

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 5+ years of leadership within a manufacturing environment
• Strong background in lean manufacturing
• Prior experience in pet food or food manufacturing
