Job summary

Golden Pet Manufacturing in Seward, NE is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to lead the shipping and receiving team, ensure compliance with procedures, and optimize inventory control. You will supervise loading/unloading, maintain documents, and resolve discrepancies while promoting safety, quality and efficiency.

The role requires experience in shipping/receiving, ERP systems and forklift operation, with a focus on GMP and BRC standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in shipping and receiving.
• ERP and inventory control background.
• Comfortable operating a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Material Handlers and ensure proper procedures and policies are being followed.
• Enforce and uphold Golden Pet Manufacturing work rules, policies, procedures and report any known violation.
• Supervise loading and unloading of trailers to include inspection of the same.
• Maintain, update and develop shipping and receiving documents as needed; investigate root cause and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate and prioritize selection of orders, stock transfers, and production receipts as it relates to safety, quality and efficiency.
• Maintain established pre-shipment inspection programs to prevent incorrect stock shipments.
• Maintain effective employee relations to improve motivation and productivity through the use of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Train employees and monitor performance to ensure work processes are accomplished in a timely and effective manner using flawless control over held products, rotation, damage control, GMP and BRC standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.)

• 5 years experience in shipping and receiving
