Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor at the Bowling Green, OH plant to oversee inbound and outbound freight, material handling, and inventory control. You will lead a team, coordinate daily operations, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across the department.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing with forklift experience and 2+ years in supervision, plus flexibility to work first shift, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years manufacturing experience; forklift operator experience required.
• 2+ years supervising production staff preferred.
• Ability to work first shift hours, including weekends and overtime.
• High School or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities, including inbound and outbound freight, material handling, and inventory control.
• Supervise, train, and develop a team of shipping/receiving personnel, including performance management, scheduling, and task delegation.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the shipping/receiving department.
• Supervise sorting, staging, and inventory handling operations to support production and customer requirements.
• Ensure shipping and receiving equipment is operated and maintained according to established procedures; coordinate repairs and maintain required supplies
• Maintain a safe, secure, and organized work environment by enforcing safety policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices; promptly address and communicate potential hazards.
• Collect, analyze, and report shipping and receiving performance metrics, trends, and operational data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support inventory accuracy through proper documentation and record retention practices.
• All other duties as assigned.
