Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to join our Bowling Green, OH plant. This role leads all shipping and receiving activities and directs a team of associates to ensure accurate material flow and on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities include coordinating inbound and outbound freight, supervising staff, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement through data analysis of shipping metrics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience; forklift operator is required.
• 2+ years supervising production staff.
• Ability to work first shift, including weekends and overtime.
• High School or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shipping and receiving activities including inbound/outbound freight, material handling, and inventory control.
• Supervise, train, and develop shipping/receiving personnel, including performance management, scheduling, and task delegation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the shipping/receiving department.
• Supervise sorting, staging, and inventory handling operations to support production and customer requirements.
• Ensure shipping and receiving equipment is operated and maintained according to established procedures; coordinate repairs and maintain required supplies.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and organized work environment by enforcing safety policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices; promptly address and communicate potential hazards.
• Collect, analyze, and report shipping and receiving performance metrics, trends, and operational data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support inventory accuracy through proper documentation and record retention practices.
• All other duties as assigned.
