Job Purpose

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Plans and directs activities and daily operations of Shipping/Receiving personnel.
• Coordinates all outbound shipments with personnel.
• Manages all inbound shipments.
• Oversees and corrects cycle counts, discrepancies, and inventory accuracy.
• Plans, implements, improves material storage, layout, and min/max replenishment levels.
• Provides direction and feedback for label printing, receipts, and ASN accuracy.
• Coordinates and maintains accurate records for all outbound shipments of work-in-process materials.
• Verifies and resolves any receiving issues using system-generated reports and inbound paperwork.
• Maintains ISO/TS certification in all aspects of the material handling flow process.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; college degree or some college preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience; union experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• MRP system experience (SAP).
• Leadership experience managing 4+ associates.
• Safety conscious; involved in, led, and completed manufacturing safety courses.
• Quality conscious; involved in leading corrective actions and countermeasure improvements.
• Complete team player with excellent communication skills at all levels within the facility; experience leading meetings and staying on task.
• Ability to plan, perform, improve, and complete multiple tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ability to work all 3 shifts.
• Experience with barcode systems and RF trackers.
• Experience managing workers in a union environment.
• Experience executing improvement plans and project work (analysis, prioritization, development, tracking, completion).
