Job summary

Ellsworth Adhesives in Sparks, NV is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Specialist. The role handles inbound material receipt, storage, and outbound shipments.

You will obtain quotes, arrange transportation, and prepare documentation for domestic and international shipments from the Sparks facility. This position requires 2 years of shipping/receiving experience, a high school diploma, and forklift certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Shipping/Receiving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Forklift certifications needs to be obtained within 90 days in the role.
• DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation certification preferred.
• Proficiently follows routing instructions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Executes all duties of Shipping/Receiving.
• Arranges transportation services for outgoing orders.
• Quotes and arranges international shipments via freight forwarder.
• Completes international documents (SLIs, EEI) and booking.
• Trains other Shipping/Receiving employees and assists in documenting work instructions.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives.
