Job summary

Ecoverse seeks a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our Sparks, NV location. This role will verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.

You will operate a tow motor, assemble, label, and ship merchandise, receive and verify items, and arrange transportation as needed. The position may involve annual inventory tasks and cycle counts.

Qualifications

• Shipping & Receiving Clerks: 1 year (Preferred).
• Forklift: 1 year (Preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine shipment contents and compare them with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
• Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
• Put away received materials
• Assist in annual physical inventory and weekly cycle counts
• Move inventory using a tow motor

include but are not limited to: Operating a tow motor, assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.
