Job summary

McCandless Truck Center - Reno is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Associate in Sparks, NV. You will help manage incoming and outgoing shipments, keep inventory accurate, and support general warehouse tasks.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, shipping/receiving experience, and comfort with basic computer/inventory software. Forklift certification is a plus. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations preferred.
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Proficient in basic computer use and inventory software.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and documentation.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled correctly.
