Zusammenfassung

EZG Manufacturing is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage outbound orders and coordinate freight, ERP shipping transactions, and carrier communications. You will track shipments, maintain shipping records, and work with production to ensure on-time delivery and order accuracy.

The role involves forklift operation, safe handling of materials, and maintaining a clean shipping area while meeting safety standards. Prior ERP shipping experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; logistics/supply chain training a plus.
• Experience in shipping/logistics in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience using ERP systems for shipping or order transactions preferred.
• Knowledge of freight quoting, carrier scheduling, shipment tracking and shipping docs is preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred; ability to obtain forklift authorization/certification.

Aufgaben

• Process and ship customer orders in SyteLine ERP with accuracy.
• Obtain freight quotes and coordinate shipping methods and carriers.
• Schedule carrier pickups and provide required shipment information/documentation.
• Communicate shipment details and tracking information to customers and internal teams.
• Track shipments through delivery and follow up on delays or issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with freight carriers and service providers.
• Monitor order due dates and coordinate with production to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare and maintain shipping records and related documents.
• Load/unload trucks safely using forklift and other equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe shipping area and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other shipping duties as needed.
