Job summary

Mazzella is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for our Westlake, OH location. This morning-shift role requires forklift operation, accurate handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, and precise ERP and UPS WorldShip data entry.

You will prepare items for shipment, maintain records, and collaborate with other departments to meet shipping dates. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school a plus
• Experience with ERP systems and UPS WorldShip preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail essential
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to plan and organize work

Responsibilities

• Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments
• Operate ERP and UPS WorldShip; maintain shipping records
• Package, label, weigh and ship items per tickets
• Load/unload trucks; move and store materials
• Coordinate with departments and carriers to meet ship dates
• Pull inventory for shipments; perform cycle counts
• Coordinate and dispatch deliveries; ensure safety and cleanliness
